The Let Them Play rally was billed as a “Peaceable Protest” and was organized by Coopersville senior basketball participant Ethan Coady.
A crowd estimated at between 2,000 and three,000 adults and kids assembled earlier than the rally began at midday. Shortly after that, a gaggle of high-school athletes took the rostrum with their messages and pleas to renew winter contact sports activities.
